Interested in hosting an event for City of Forest Day 2026? Join us on Zoom for a webinar on Thursday, July 23 from 6:00-7:00PM, designed especially for Tree Stewards and Citizen Pruners who want to learn how to get involved.


City of Forest Day will take place on Saturday, October 3, 2026, and we would love to see our Tree Steward and Citizen Pruner community well presented in the lineup of events!

Whether you're thinking about hosting an event or simply want to attend one, this workshop is for you! During the webinar, we'll cover:

  • What City of Forest Day is all about

  • How to organize and host a successful event

  • Resources and support available throughout the planning process

  • Examples and inspiration from past City of Forest Day events

  • Tree Guard Incentive Program

Can't host or attend an event? You can still participate! This year we are introducing the Pruning Bonanza. Any Citizen Pruners who plans to prune on Saturday, October 3rd, 2026 can register for our Pruning Bonanza Tool Giveaway Incentive Program. Program winners will receive:

  • One hand saw and one hand pruner (supplies are limited to twenty (20) Citizen Pruners).
