“Our team really enjoyed supporting Trees New York! BKD sent over 60 volunteers to remove litter and weeds, plant flowers, water, and mulch at three different locations throughout the city. BKDers are committed to our community and spending our time with Trees New York was an especially rewarding experience! We learned so much.”
Volunteering with Trees New York is an excellent opportunity for your company to increase visibility, reach a new market and showcase your corporate social responsibility! Trees New York will help your organize the event and assist with outreach.
Our corporate volunteer events take place Monday through Saturday and are usually about 2 hours long. Events are designed to host a maximum of 15-20 participants at once. If you are looking to put together an opportunity for a larger group, please inquire about hosting more than one event.
Please note, the minimum amount required to cover costs associated with putting our events together is $1,000 per event, although with donations, the average contribution ranges anywhere between $2,500 and $5,000.
All events are held within the five boroughs of New York City. Volunteer activities include tree bed stewardship, tree bed cleanup, mulching, watering, and planting flowers. If you haven’t had an opportunity to do so already, please check out the link below to watch a brief video and get a better idea of the activities mentioned above.
