Watch NYC Park’s video about the NYC Street Tree Map.

Create an account and record your tree care activities. Once you register,  click I am a Citizen Pruner” and you can log the trees you pruned/stewarded directly to the map.

Don’t forget to connect with Trees New York’s Group page.

“Being a Citizen Pruner and using my fabulous new pole saw allows me to be an  awesome urban warrior and fight for our trees. I love having this sweet tool to get the job done.  You also get serious respect and lots of curious gazes walking down the sidewalk with it in hand. ”  Lynn Tondrick, Citizen Pruner Challenge winner.

Volunteer stewardship activities include: Tree bed clean up and soil cultivation, Mulching, Tree Bed Gardening, Watering Trees and Pruning.
