On behalf of the City of Forest Day Steering Committee, Trees New York is excited to invite you to the City of Forest Day Kick-Off event, where we will officially announce City of Forest Day 2026 set for Saturday, October 3rd. We’ll kick off the celebration with a live street tree pruning demonstration, followed by a chance to connect with fellow tree enthusiasts in the beautiful setting of East Harlem Art Park.
Light refreshments will be served courtesy of The Nature Conservancy. The event will be photographed. Please let the photographer know if you do not wish to appear in any photos.
This event is open to all Forest for All NYC Coalition members, past City of Forest Day hosts and participants, as well as any interested community members. Together, we’ll celebrate the incredible work you’ve accomplished and build momentum for 2026.
