Presented by Forest for All NYC, City of Forest Day is an annual day of activities across the city to raise awareness of the importance of the New York City urban forest, and the essential role New Yorkers play every day in caring for the “lungs” of our city.

This year, Trees New York wants to make sure that more New Yorkers have the support they need to participate in tree care events in their neighborhoods. We are working to provide materials like tools, gloves, mulch, and flower bulbs to partner groups organizing events in designated Environmental Justice Communities.
